Not only those we host are a drop in the ocean of global poverty, but they are among the least disadvantaged since they had physical and intellectual possibilities of moving to us. Selective immigration that we practice is unnecessary since it doesn't solve world poverty and moreover it deprives the populations of its most energetic elements.
